Today I share with my #micuirfamily a new episode of Micuir on the road in the wonderful Cartagena de Indias, a trip that I recommend without a doubt.

DAY 1

Arrival at the hotel

I like to stay in boutique hotels that convey the history of the cities I travel to. In Cartagena I chose the Hotel Casa de Alba, a hotel located in an impressive colonial mansion that exudes a calm and tranquil luxury, very much in line with Micuir's values. The building is impressive and has a swimming pool in a central courtyard with tropical vegetation that envelops you in a magical atmosphere. I spent some very pleasant moments with a book that I carried in the two-tone cream and leather and leather in its large size where I carried it. The hotel service is very professional with exquisite attention.

City tour

Walking around Cartagena transports you to another era, especially the historic center. To be comfortable and fresh but also stylish, I wore the Sofia cotton dress and the beige Marieta that are very comfortable and accompanied a walk through this beautiful city. I was fascinated by the architecture with wonderful colonial houses and picturesque streets where you can breathe the aroma of tropical fruits and the sea breeze. I wore the small Paola bag in taupe color that you can carry as a shoulder bag and it fits everything you need.

For lunch I recommend the Caribbean style restaurant Candé where we let ourselves be advised and tried something very special, the coconut ceviche. Everything in Cartagena has a very tropical flavor. In my suitcase I carried cotton clothes, comfortable and that helped me to walk cool. For this meal I wore the Catalina dress, which is very wide and matches perfectly with the Antibes sandals, which allowed me to continue walking all over the city after this wonderful meal.

DAY 2

Strolling along the ramparts

One of the most famous sites are the ramparts, which were built to prevent pirate attacks and took two centuries to do. This hot and sultry day, I chose a dress and the Dinsum leather bag where everything you need to make this visit fits. I wore the Arcila sandals in coral tone that flatter the foot and are very comfortable.

Where to eat?

Another place I recommend to eat is the Hotel Santa Clara of the Sofitel chain with an international cuisine very influenced by local flavors. The space is a colonial fantasy where you can spend a pleasant after-dinner conversation. This time I combined the Dinsum Cuero with the Antibes sandals combined which is an option in earth tones very easy to combine.

DAY 3

Strolling through Getsemaní

In the picturesque, cobblestone streets of Getsemani, amidst murmurs of ancestral stories, you can experience the daily life of a city like Cartagena de Indias. I was very inspired by the traditional Colombian costumes, full of color and volume and, above all, by the joy of the women of the neighborhood.
