Turqueta, the first Micuir clothing collection
Dear #MicuirFamily:
Do you know the quote by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry "Make your life a dream and your dream a reality"? I think it defines a very beautiful way of life: that of pursuing your dreams with hard work and perseverance. The same philosophy that I apply every day at Micuir. As you know, my dream has always been to Micuirize us and dress you in Micuir from head to toe.
Thanks to that (and your unconditional support), today I can tell you that one of those dreams has come true: we are launching our first Micuir clothing collection. I must confess that this is a dream I've had since I was a little girl, but I've always had a lot of respect for it. Now, thanks to the insistence of the #MicuirFamily and a trip to Menorca, it has come to life.
It all began in Turqueta, a paradise hidden among pine trees and with one of the most spectacular beaches on the island. Its name, which is pure inspiration, refers to an event that happened in the past. And so, remembering that dream she had as a child, the first Micuir clothing collection was born. As you may have guessed, its name is Turquette. It couldn't be any other.
Garments 100% made in Spain
Following the Micuir philosophy, each of the garments in the collection has been made exclusively in Spain, specifically in a small Galician village. And, like all Micuir models, they are handmade and designed exclusively by me.
In total there are six garments (five dresses and one jumpsuit) of which we have created few units in order to fulfil our Micuir commitment to exclusivity and craftsmanship.
Macareia, Galdana and Binibeca, handcrafted dresses made in Spain
It's time for introductions. Here you have Macareia, Galdana and Binibeca, the real protagonists of this story. As you may have guessed, they are named after some of the most beautiful coves in Menorca, which, together with Turqueta, have served as inspiration for the design of the collection.
I must confess that I am very proud of all my little ones. little. So much so that I decided to pose with them myself for the photos in the collection. What do you think of the result?
Binigaus, the long overalls you won't take off
Last but not least, I wanted to add a jumpsuit to the collection. A completely different piece from the rest of the Turqueta models.
Binigaus is created to become (and make you) the star of the summer. Super comfortable but with that special touch capable of stealing the attention of all eyes. Handmade to withstand the long summer days without sacrificing comfort but sporting a unique and exclusive design.
