The #MicuirFamily united in support of Ukraine
At Micuir, we have a guiding principle: the more you give, the more you receive. That's why we couldn't stand idly by in the face of the terrible situation currently unfolding in Ukraine. More than three million refugees have already fled the country and found themselves facing a new life with no resources available to them.
That's why, when we asked our Micuir Family which association or NGO they wanted to choose to allocate our aid to, the majority answer was: UNHCR, the UN agency for refugees, and Caritas.
To do this, we organized a charity raffle that was active on our Instagram profile from March 11 to 18 and whose prize was a set of exclusive Micuir designs valued at more than €1,000.
The mechanics of the draw step by step
To participate, you only needed to buy a gift card worth €25 on our website or physical store (you could buy as many cards as you wanted) and the entire amount of that purchase was donated to UNHCR and Caritas.
The draw took place on Friday, March 18th at 3 PM and was announced on our Instagram profile at 8 PM. The winning card number was 35,327.
Main questions regarding the charity raffle
The most frequently asked question during the raffle was whether the card was just a donation or if it could still be used for purchases. The answer is yes in both cases. Micuir has donated the full value of all €25 cards purchased between March 11th and 18th, and those who purchased one can use it on their next purchase. The cards are valid for one year.
The other most frequently asked question was whether the winner could choose another product of the same value in the draw. The answer is yes. The winner was able to choose any Micuir design she wanted within each category included in the draw.
