My greatest gift: my #MicuirFamily
Dear #MicuirFamily:
There are only three days left until the end of 2021. Despite the challenges this year has brought, I couldn't be more grateful. And it's all thanks to you.
Yes, you, who are part of my #MicuirGang. A community of extraordinary women (like Laura García, from El Sueño de Vicky , whose story we shared on our blog) who make it possible for this dream called Micuir to continue. Your support and messages still move me to my core every day.
If you've known me for a while, you know my goal isn't simply to sell more and more. Micuir was born with a greater purpose: to create a Spanish brand that is sustainable and committed to society. A company capable of supporting the social causes that need it most. Something I would be incapable of achieving without my #MicuirTeam. The team that has taken me so much effort to build over these past four years and of which I am incredibly proud.
#MicuirTeam, the heart and strength of Micuir
That's right. I'm not alone in this adventure. Can you imagine? It would be unthinkable! It's true that I started my project from my dear father's living room with more enthusiasm than knowledge of what I was getting myself into by creating my own company. But little by little, I've been able to add members to the #MicuirTeam who have joined me on this adventure. I like to say that more than a work team, we're a family.
From the workshops of Spanish artisans who handcraft each exclusive Micuir design (which we discussed in more detail in the first blog post ) , to the team at our store on Claudio Coello Street, 90 (Madrid), and to the amazing team of women who work with me, helping with communication, administration, finances, and often providing moral support. They share with me the joys and sorrows of this exciting journey.
A wonderful family that supports me every day and makes it possible for unique designs, crafted with meticulous attention to detail, to reach your hands (and feet). Designs that can accompany you in your daily life and in the most special moments, like the upcoming family celebrations.
This year-end we deserve to shine
As you know, besides running Micuir, I'm also a mother to another baby. My first baby was Micuir. My second baby is Álvaro, who was born right in the middle of the pandemic, because it seems life always throws challenges our female entrepreneurs our way. Thank God we seem to be emerging from this tunnel, and the fact that I'm still here today at the helm of this ship that is Micuir is, without a doubt, thanks to you. I'm a woman who's always on the go and has many facets, like most of us. That's why I create such varied designs that suit all stages of our lives.
For this magical time of year, I've created a Christmas selection of Micuir designs with a special touch that will allow us to shine at all the celebrations, from early morning until late at night (or as long as we can manage). Have you seen them? I can't possibly choose just one. If you have a favorite, you still have time to add it to your letter to the Three Wise Men.
