My greatest gift: my #MicuirFamily
Dear #MicuirFamily:
There are only three days left until the end of 2021. Despite the complications this year has brought, I couldn't be more grateful. And it's all thanks to you.
Yes, you, who are part of my #MicuirGang. A community of extraordinary women (like Laura García, from Vicky's Dreamwhose story we tell you on our blog) who make it possible for this dream called Micuir to go on. Your support and messages continue to thrill me to the bone every day.
If you have known me for a long time, you will know that my goal is not to sell more and more. Micuir was born with a greater purpose. To create a Spanish brand, sustainable and committed to society. A company capable of helping the social causes that need it most. Something I would be unable to achieve without my #MicuirTeam. The team that I have worked so hard to create over the last four years and of which I am extremely proud.
#MicuirTeam, the heart and strength of Micuir
That's right, I am not alone in this adventure, can you imagine, it would be unthinkable! It is true that I started my project from the living room of my saintly father's house with more enthusiasm than knowledge of what I was getting myself into by creating my own company. But little by little I have been able to add members to the #MicuirTeam who have joined me in this adventure. I like to say that more than a work team, we are a family.
From the workshops of Spanish artisans who create each Micuir design exclusively by hand (and of whom we spoke to you in more detail in the first blog post). From the team at our shop in Calle Claudio Coello, 90 (Madrid). Even the great team of women who work with me and who help me with communication, administration, finances and often give me moral support. They share with me the joys and sorrows of this exciting journey.
A large family that accompanies me every day and makes it possible for you to get your hands (and feet) unique designs that are cared for down to the smallest detail. Capable of accompanying you in your day to day life and in the most special moments of your life, such as the family celebrations that are approaching.
We deserve to shine this New Year's Eve
As you know, in addition to being in charge of Micuir, I am also the mother of another baby. My first baby was Micuir. My second baby is Álvaro, who was born in the middle of a pandemic, because it seems that life always presents us entrepreneurs with challenges. Thank God we seem to be coming out of this tunnel and the fact that I am still here today at the helm of this ship that is Micuir is, without a doubt, thanks to you. I am a woman who does not stop in my day-to-day life and I have many facets, like most of us. That's why I create so many different designs to suit all stages of our lives.
For this magical time of the year I have created a Christmas selection made up of Micuir designs with a special touch that will allow us to shine in all the celebrations from early in the morning until late at night (or as long as the body can stand). Have you seen them? I can't pick just one. If you have a favourite, there's still time to include it in your letter to the Three Wise Men.
I don't want to go on any longer, but I can't say goodbye without telling you one thing before I go:
